When it comes to working while going to school there are some things that all students need to know. Working and going to college can be very difficult in this economy. As we all know the prices of college and textbooks are on the rise. Then factor in personal life expenses such as car payments, insurance, and any of the other costs in everyday life and you have trouble keeping up. Not all people are lucky enough to get out going to college and working.

First off is the fact that it is difficult to juggle the college and work schedule to make it work. This is a huge problem when working while going to school. Here is a useful tip, always check with your school to see what night and weekend classes they have available. If you are lucky you might be able to move the bulk of your classes to the night and weekend classes to free up weekdays for earning a living.

Next thing to discuss is the get up and go factor. Going to school and working are difficult enough without being tired. If you are working while going to college then you should be aware that being worn out in class will get you failed and being tired at work will get you fired. None of these is a good option for anyone, so remember to make time in your life everyday for at least six hours of shut eye.

The last thing to think about here is leisure time. Yes everyone needs to have a chance to relax and hang with family and friends even if you are working while going to school. The stress of working and going to school will overwhelm you if you do not have people there to support you and help you laugh, smile, and recharge from time to time.
